Halfway Point

My sophomore year has finally come to an end. It’s been a wild ride.

From getting published for the first time in Physics Review Letters (PRL, https://journals.aps.org/prl/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevLett.116.196401) to finding out a few weeks later, that not only is my work being published, it is being highlighted by the editor, this past semester has been a blast. I’m excited to continue my journey in research this summer in California at SLAC.

I’m am also excited by the opportunity to continue to represent my peers at Rutgers. From being elected as the College Avenue Senator, to being elected the Student Representative to the Senate Executive Committee from New Brunswick, this year has been very rewarding. It is my goal to continue to represent students, in the Student Assembly and the University Senate. This year I plan to work to improve mental health services on campus, implement Medical Amnesty and work to establish more sustainable practices within the University. And much much more.

This is the year of big dreams and big goals. Can’t wait to get started!
